About Beril

I graduated from Robert College, where we taught academic English for 5 years, and now I am a student at Marmara Medical Faculty, where the language of instruction is also English. During my years at Robert College, I taught English to many children at primary and secondary school levels as a part of community projects. In addition, for 5 years, I reviewed and analyzed my peers' essays written in academic English. I have edited more than 100 English compositions; I helped high school students who had trouble writing well-composed, captivating essays.

About the lesson

I organize my lessons according to the needs of the student. I can make a curriculum for all ages ranging from A1 to B2 and from primary school to high school. I attach great importance to self-expression, that is, speaking and writing in English. I encourage students to express themselves in lessons, and I dedicate a part of each lesson to English conversations. Instead of teaching words and sentences with Turkish translations, I prefer to teach by associating facts and events to the English language. I can create a fun English speaking atmosphere with young children, or I can present in a more formal manner for students who want to advance their academic writing or formal speaking skills.
