About Lauren
I am currently studying a joint honours degree in English & Classics at the University of Bristol, and looking for some students to teach online. I have tutored two young girls in English since last September, one at primary school level and one at GCSE.
I have always had a passion for English, achieving an A* at A-Level and writing in my spare time. I would love to share this with my students and encourage them to view the subject in the same way.

I think it's so important to encourage not only academic success, but enthusiasm about the subject. I tailor my teaching methods to the child and how they learn best, in order to achieve the best results possible.
I try to vary my lessons as much as possible, especially with younger students, in order for them to stay engaged and on task. I realise that the object of tutoring is to teach, but I try to avoid my lessons seeming like a chore and an extension of school for the child, but rather something to look forward to.
