About Rafael
I started teaching when a friend asked me to help her 11-year-old daughter, who was having difficulties in math. I taught her three times a week and I was pleased to see her performance improve on the exams. Since that, I started to think about the classes and how to improve them for most of my day, which I believe is the great secret of my method.

I am a student of the 4th year of civil engineering and passionate about mathematics. In my classes I usually first evaluate the student's performance in the discipline to know where their difficulties are concentrated, which are usually related to the lack of base of previous years. Then I adapt the classes according to the subjects and the difficulties that the students are having at school at that moment. During the lessons I try to give a brief theoretical explanation of a certain subject so that I can go to the exercises, which I first solve with examples and then ask the students to try.
