About Afshana
I have been teaching students Maths GCSE and SATs for the past 6 years. I have built this experience throughout the years by first initially working at a tuition centre and then transitioned into a private tutor over the years. My method of teaching begins with the topic that the student is the weakest on until they have reached a good level of understanding to move on to the next topic. Once the student has covered all topics, I organise a small test to examine how well the student has understood the topics and review the content that they struggle most on.
My resonsibilities and Duties as a Tutor include:
-Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to best meet the student’s academic needs and goals
-Clarifying and teaching subject matter
-Assessing students’ knowledge consistently upon every session
-Being a mentor to students
