About Ruchitha

Hello! I am Ruchitha. I am currently an undergraduate student at the prestigious RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. While my academic background is in engineering, my passion lies in language, communication, and helping younger students find their voice. Why trust me with your child's education? Academic Discipline: As an engineering student, I understand the value of discipline, structure, and setting clear goals. I bring this same level of dedication to my English lessons, ensuring that every session is productive and focused. Relatability: I am young enough to understand the pressures and distractions school students face today, but experienced enough to guide them through it. I bridge the gap between a strict teacher and a supportive friend. Holistic Growth: I don't just teach for grades; I teach for confidence. My goal is to equip my students with communication skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom—whether in college interviews or future careers. My Professional Promise Reliability: I respect your time. I am punctual, prepared, and consistent with my schedule. Transparency: I believe in keeping parents in the loop. I provide regular updates on the student's progress and areas that need improvement. A Safe Learning Environment: I am patient and encouraging. I assure you that your child will feel safe to make mistakes, ask "silly" questions, and learn at their own pace without fear of judgment. I look forward to being a part of your learning journey!

My goal is to move beyond boring textbooks and help students actually enjoy the English language—whether it’s for exams, creative writing, or speaking confidently in front of a crowd.

My Teaching Methodology I believe that English is a skill, not just a subject. My approach is interactive and student-centric:

Confidence First: I focus heavily on removing the fear of making mistakes. I create a safe space where students feel comfortable speaking up.

Practical Application: We won't just memorize grammar rules; we will use them in real-world scenarios, storytelling, and conversation.

Creative Expression: I encourage students to write their own stories and express their thoughts, which naturally improves their vocabulary and sentence structure.

The Structure of a Typical Class To ensure we make the most of our time, I usually follow a 4-step structure (customized to the student's pace):

The "Ice-Breaker" (5-10 mins): A quick, fun conversation or a "word of the day" challenge to get the student’s brain switched to English mode.

The Concept (15-20 mins): We tackle a specific topic (e.g., a grammar rule, a writing format, or a chapter from their syllabus) using simple, relatable examples.

Active Practice (20 mins): The student takes the lead! This involves reading aloud, creative writing exercises, or a debate on a fun topic to practice speaking.

Wrap-up & Feedback (5-10 mins): We review what we learned and set a small, manageable goal for the next class.

My Special Features (Why choose me?)

The "Student" Advantage: Being a college student myself, I can easily relate to the academic struggles school children face. I act as a mentor and a friend rather than a strict authority figure.

Focus on Public Speaking: I am passionate about overcoming stage fear. I include small speaking exercises in my lessons to help students build a strong, confident voice from a young age.

Patience & Empathy: I understand that every child learns differently. I am patient and happy to explain concepts as many times as needed until they "click."

Who are these classes for? My lessons are perfectly suited for:

Primary School Students: Building a strong foundation in reading, phonics, and basic grammar.

Secondary School Students: Focusing on creative writing, reading comprehension, exam preparation, and spoken English confidence.
