About Jack
After scoring a 35 on the ACT, I began providing ACT tutoring lessons using the strategies I picked up from my own tutoring and practice. I have provided ACT tutoring for two years, both in-person and online. Many students utilize the large ACT test prep books; while these are helpful in providing practice material, I have found them to be very dry. One-on-one tutoring provides an opportunity for a student to discover which approaches work best for them, and work on selected problems to build skills in areas where they may struggle.

In high school, I attended professional ACT lessons with a large company and learned many specific strategies for each of the four ACT sections: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. From this, I developed my own lesson plan to help students succeed for a much more affordable price.
Each lesson focuses on one of the four sections. We will start by going over the strategies for a section and then put them into practice with selected problems.
My goal is to provide personalized support to a student and work with them to make sure they are well prepared for test day.
Tutoring in the optional ACT Writing section, as well as resume building, is also provided.
