About John
I am a Civil Engineering Student at UBCO and have coached minor hockey for multiple years while in high school and junior high. I get how difficult and boring math might be, but I hope that I can help find joy in succeeding in your math class. I also can tutor in chemistry and physics. I will bring a exciting energy to our sessions and hope it will lead to a big jump in your grades!

First thing we will do is go over a lesson plan prepared to give the student the knowledge needed for the subject.
Next we will complete some examples together where I guide and show how to complete the problem.
Lastly, I will give the student some practice problems to complete before we end the session. If more practice is needed some exampls can be sent back with the student.
I have coached minor hockey for five years when I was in high school. Therefor I have developed a way to connect with my players. I also some of the boys on the team (age 10-12) during that time.
