Teaching has a lot to do with picture painting. What i mean by picture painting is trying to create a picture of a topic in the mind of my students,and by so doing,a student is not learning but also umderstanding.
I am also an advocate of "listen and don't write". This means my student can actually complete a lecture session and confidently go home and make a note by him or herself.
