Hello:
My name is John Foster and I am happy to work with you as your tutor in the areas of mathematics, statistics and computers. I have over 30 years of teaching experience at the college level, but have also tutored high school students in math areas.
First of all, I am very comfortable in one-on-one tutoring, i.e. assessing where a student is at and providing step-by-step help in working problems. I am very good at listening to students and guiding you towards the right path.
Students have expressed to me that I am a good communicator, have lots of patience, and present various methods to help understand and solve problems.
I develop lessons plans for mathematics, statistics and computer subject matters at all levels.
