About Ryan
Hi, my name is Ryan and I have a background in aerospace, but having also worked in the medical industry, I ultimately decided to pursue a career in dentistry. Along the way, I found that I love teaching people the subjects I am most adept at and interested in, and that I do it well under pressure, which is why I am here!
I graduated magna cum laude from UTSA with a concentration in pre-medicine and scored in the 93rd percentile on the DAT with my highest score in Biology, but I can help with General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Perceptual Aptitude Tests, Quantitative Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension portions of the exam as well as most lower division courses, most pre-medical courses, and many upper division science courses such as Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology, and Epigenetics.
I am not afraid of reviewing your classwork on short notice, or doing last minute test prep with you late at night or early morning, so if it is a tutoring emergency, and you need help today, this is what I specialize in.

-You send me what you’re working on in class
-I go through it in advance
-I solve the problems and create a step-by-step roadmap for each one
During our meeting:
-We go over the work together
-I’ll want to know how you are approaching each problem first
-I’ll try to identify any trouble areas and show you the way I solved them
-You can stop me and ask questions any time (Please do!)
-If there are “gotcha’s” or trick questions, those will get special attention
-I’ll make sure you leave knowing the thought process behind the problems

-I like meeting in person, so there is no fee if you meet me at a location roughly half-way. (I'm in Boerne, so near The Rim works great for most people)
-I know your time is valuable, so I am happy to do a quick phone or video consultation before we meet and roll the free lesson into a $20 discount for your first tutoring session.
-Emergency help the day of your request is generally available on a first come first serve basis, but due to the amount of preparation it typically takes to give you a high quality tutoring session, if there are less than 24 hours between your request and the scheduled session, a $20 emergency fee applies at the time of your request.
