About Phoebe

Teaching poetry isn't just a profession for me; it's a passion deeply rooted in my belief in the transformative power of words. I want to share the joy of self-expression and the beauty of language with students, guiding them to discover their unique poetic voices and find solace, inspiration, and empowerment in the art of verse.

About the lesson

In my poetry lessons, I prioritise a personalised approach tailored to each student's unique voice and aspirations. I believe that poetry is not just about technique, but about authenticity and self-expression. By fostering a supportive and nurturing environment, I encourage students to explore their creativity freely, whether they're beginners or seasoned poets. Together, we delve into the nuances of poetic devices, dissecting famous works and crafting original pieces that reflect individual experiences and emotions. With constructive feedback and gentle guidance, I empower students to uncover their poetic potential and develop a deeper connection with their craft. Join me on a journey of self-discovery and poetic mastery, where every word becomes a brushstroke on the canvas of your soul.
