About Amanda
I am an elementary teacher for the Arlington School District. I've assisted students from grades K-6, and am currently working toward my Master of Arts in Mathematics K-6. This last school year, my classroom was solely K-5 math and arts. I am also part of our Arlington Math Lead Team which explored strategies and ways to improve student learning in mathematics.

My teaching method is individualized to the student. When working with math, I realize that I need to explore different strategies with students in order to find one that is successful for them and their understanding. Each student has their own way of learning, and instead of trying to fit the student to a style, I work hard to find a style that fits the student.
