About Mikayla
I received my degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. I have been tutoring in Elementary schools for the last six years. I love helping young learners reach their goals, and I think anyone is capable of thriving in their education given the right tools.

I instruct my students using the gradual release of responsibility method. I believe it is so important to model for your students, practice with them, and then practice by themselves. I think that learning should be enjoyable and comfortable, and building that relationship with your students is essential to helping them succeed. My lessons are geared towards students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

I highly recommend Mikayla! She has helped me think through my engineering homework, and this wasn’t just your average engineering homework, this was Differential Equations! She hadn’t even taken the class and she was able to solve a problem. This lady is genius.
