I'm Amy, a dedicated online tutor for Maths, Physics, and Computing. With a degree in Electronic Engineering from The University of Exeter, I bring a range of academic expertise and real-world experience to a virtual classroom.
My journey in Electronic Engineering has equipped me with a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, and computing – crucial elements that underpin the modern world. As a former technician, I've gained invaluable hands-on knowledge.

I provide 1-hour lessons structured to optimise learning for KS2, KS3 and GCSE. Each session begins with a warm-up review of previous topics, reinforcing the child's understanding and boosting their confidence. We then delve into the current lesson's topic, starting with clear explanations followed by illustrative examples. I encourage students to tackle questions independently while guiding them through their thought process. If a concept proves challenging, I adapt my explanation to suit their learning style. Exposure to various questions of the same type enhances comprehension and mastery. I prioritise building students' confidence as I believe it is pivotal to their academic success.
I earned an upper second-class honours degree from the University of Exeter in Electronic Engineering. This rigorous program, heavily steeped in mathematics, computing and physics, provided me with a profound understanding of these subjects. Witnessing their practical application in everyday scenarios has enriched my comprehension further.
