About ASMA
Having a strong background in academia myself achieving:
- 4 A grades in Alevels (the highest at that time with the school awarding me with outstanding student of the year award),
- First class honours degree in Physics followed by an MSc in Computing science both from the prestigious Imperial College, London and a
-PhD in Image processing at UCL.
imparted in me a passion for learning as well as helping others learn (during my PhD years at UCL I taught undergraduates). Now have 16+ years of tutoring experience, I am an approved senior examiner for Tutorsandexams marking Alevel maths, (I)GCSE maths and science papers.
Have taught independent students (GCSE and Alevels maths) , who are not affiliated with any school, who have gone on to achieve excellent results.
Prior to full time tutoring I worked as a senior quant analyst in prestige hedge funds/investment banks for 13+ years specialising in financial modelling, in particular, development of investment strategies for market neutral long-short equity portfolios. Some of the top companies I worked for include AllianceBernstein Ltd London and Investcorp in Bahrain.
