About Anna
My name is Anna Mallon. I am 19 years old and currently studying Psychology and Business at the University of Edinburgh. I am from Belfast in Northern Ireland. I have been a tutor for nearly three years now and absolutely adore it. I love tutoring and seeing the spark that kids get in their eyes when something final clicks- there is no better feeling. I've always worked with kids, from helping my younger brother, to working in a primary school for two weeks, to being a coach. I aim to create an open learning environment for all my students where they feel safe and comfortable to get things wrong, ask questions and build their confidence for both inside and outside the classroom.

I have previous tutoring experience for a variety of ages. I tutored an 11 year old for their transfer test in basic maths and english. I have tutored GCSE chemistry and GCSE maths. I would be able to tutor maths and business studies to A-level, and i specialise in pure maths. A lesson would be an hour long, preferably in person, but open to online too. I have 10A*s at GCSE in Double Award Science, Maths, Further Maths, English Literature, English Language, Religion, P.E, Spanish and Business Studies. I studied Maths, Business Studies, Chemistry and Biology at A-level and received 2A*s and 2Bs respectively. Open to all ages. I was a volunteer athletics coach for two years, have had work experience in primary schools and tutored a variety of ages and pupils, so i understand each child learns and understands things differently, so my teaching methods would adapt to the person and their needs and capabilities. I would help with understanding, exam work or even going through knowledge gaps.
