About Max
I'm Max, I am in my fifth year at University studying Mechanical Engineering. I chose engineering as maths was always my favourite subject at school and I loved applying it to real-world scenarios. Last year I worked for Dyson Ltd on a placement year, I worked in the Floorcare team working on the latest vacuum cleaners. I am also a passionate sportsman, I have represented England juniors in hockey and I love keeping fit and active and eating healthily.

I understand that different students require different techniques for learning and I can tailer my lessons to the individual. I think that a lesson should be no longer than 45 minutes.
I find that learning by doing and being able to make mistakes and learn from them in supportive environment enables students to discover their potential and thrive.
I have experience coaching sports to people of all ages and am easy to get on with. I don't have any tutoring qualifications. I would be comfortable teaching any secondary school student (aged between 13 and 18).
