About Chiara
I am Durham University finalist Music who is flexible to each students needs and goals.
I am currently undergoing a BA Music degree at Durham University. In addition, I have achieved a LCM Musical Theatre Award with Distinction. Further vocal and performance training includes the Eton Choral Course and Durham University Choral Society. Also I have Grade 8 ABRSM in both Singing and Piano, and can confidently accompany my students in lessons.
I have taught as a vocal coach numerous times in student based settings, including Durham University and Choral Courses. I have good aural skills and historical knowledge around musical theatre and classical music, and I also have musically directed choirs and musicals. I have 2 years teaching experience, teaching students from beginner to intermediate in a variety of genres including Musical Theatre and Classical. Singing exam syllabuses taught include ABRSM and TRINITY.

For GCSE and A Level Music Tutoring I typically provide an hour lesson in which I focus on exam and essay skills. I have achieved an A* myself in both exams (2017 and 2020) and am highly equipped in teaching the skills and knowledge needed to excel and feel confident on the set works.
For Vocal Coaching I teach a range of styles, however, I have an LCM diploma (95% result) for Musical Theatre. I can focus on ABRSM/Trinity exam boards, as well as general preparation for auditions etc.
