About Emilie
Frustration over a subject that you just can not figure out, everyone knows - especially me! I was really sad about going to school when I felt like it was academically too difficult and that there was not enough time to help me understand the subjects and be involved. Then (and still now, really) I wish I had a mentor in some of the subjects I found were difficult, and that's why I'm now on here.
I'm smiling, happy and have courage. My mission is to help some of you who are struggling with school. I know school is not always fun, but it's a lot more fun when you can figure it out! I am studying to become a civil engineer (perhaps as mentioned) at DTU and otherwise spend my time on a good cup of coffee with a good friend - or on helping you.
Finally, I would like to draw attention to my competencies:
- I am currently reading at DTU, so I can help in mathematics from around 7th grade to level B.
- I can help in science subjects such as chemistry and physics in primary school.

It's a real shame when you do not feel that you can keep up with maths, as there is a tendency to then just give up. Of course, that's not how it should be! I will try to explain and convey questions and misunderstandings that have arisen in math class in school and possibly come up with alternative ways of explaining a problem.
I have a relaxed approach as to where teaching / homework help will take place, as I have the best experience of the student feeling better in a safe environment - whether it is out or at home.
One thing that is important to me is that there is an understanding and room for flexibility. Together we can find a lesson plan that makes sense for both parties.
