About Adam
Thank you for your interest! My name is Adam and I hold both a Master's degree in Linguistics and a First Class BA in English from the University of Oxford. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in English at Oxford. With a lifelong and genuine enthusiasm for literature, language and philosophy, I offer friendly and focused tuition in English to University level, Philosophy to A-Level, and the Extended Project Qualification.

I have over 8 years' experience delivering collaborative, conversational, and personalised lessons to over a hundred students. Drawing from the best aspects of the Oxbridge tutorial, I offer engaging and challenging conversation that allows students to build confidence in both the material and themselves. I also provide tuition for the Oxbridge admissions process, including the ELAT entry exam for English and the dreaded Oxbridge interview. As many of my worries about the interview process were the result of misinformation, I offer accurate advice and a place to practise the interviews as they really are. Knowing exactly what to expect from both the exam and the interview is a great advantage to any prospective applicant. I have a valid Enhanced DBS check and offer my lessons online.
