About Kayla
I hold a B.S. in Middle Grades Education, a M.Ed. in Special Education, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.
I have 10 years experience teaching in public schools. I am licensed in Elementary Education (K-6), Middle School ELA, Math and Social Studies (6-9), and AIG certified. I have experience teaching engineering summer camps and designing curriculum for engineering education companies.

My teaching method changes with each student's specific needs. I tailor my strategies to serve each student and provide the best possible opportunities. I want to help you succeed in the way that you work best!
A typical lesson will consist of us working together to figure out what you need specific help with, and then moving forward with that topic in the learning style with which you learn best.
I have taught hundreds of students in my 10+ years of education experience. I am able to adapt my teaching to best fit each student.
I can work with any age group, but am specifically trained for middle school students and university level education students.
