About Mithra
I was working as a Research Fellow in Chemistry/Material Science till the end of 2107. My subject proficiency is in Chemistry and specialisation is in Organic Chemistry. I have a PhD degree in Chemistry (Incheon National University, Republic of Korea-2014) and Masters Degree in Applied Chemistry (Cochin University of Science and Technology, India-2006). I worked in higher education sector as a research and teaching fellow for more than five years. During my research degree and research fellowships, I worked as a teaching assistant and I taught organic chemistry and material science in university. I mentored undergraduate/ postgraduate students in their research projects. During my undergraduate degree course, I have engaged in home tutoring for high school students. I taught Science and Mathematics to those high school students.

For me teaching is not just a profession but also an action of sharing knowledge. "Share what you know and learn what you don't know thoroughly before you share your knowledge" is my teaching philosophy. As a teacher, I tried to understand my student’s strength and weakness and I have given guidance to them according their learning capacity. I want students to open up and say what they expected from me as a teacher. I provide them a free environment to break the ice in between a teacher and a student. I pay attention to their progress and try to understand the learning challenges. I inspire student to dream more more and I incorporate learning activities with enjoyable practical awareness programs.
