About Kelly
Like most Americans, my roots are a mix of cultures, races, and ethnicities that echo back two centuries in the Piedmont (foothills) of North Carolina .
I love music, art, and good food. I'm an avid recycler, who lives with 7 rescued animals (5 cats and 2 dogs) who are like my children. My husband and I are long time residents of Rowan County, active members of our local YMCA, and part of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) of Rowan County, which is a part of FEMA (Federal Emergency Response Agency).
As a lifelong scholar, who treasures knowledge and the teachers who have inspired my learning quest, it will be my great honor to share that special love and joy with my students.

I hold a variety of degrees, which are: Liberal Arts (AAS), Biotechnological Engineering (AAS), Health Education (BA), Public Health (MPH), Global Technology and Development (MS), and am currently completing my doctorate in Healthcare Administration (DHA) at National University.
This gives your student, access to a wide variety of subjects that I can help you with- in addition to cultivating great writing/literacy skills, something that a lot of students truly need.
