About Whitney
"13 years of experience defines my commitment to teaching the violin. My career spans from my early studies to holding an Artist Diploma in Music Performance from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
I have successfully guided 401 students through the intricacies of double stops, scales, and arpeggios. Precision matters.
We focus heavily on shifting positions, ear training, and classical repertoire. My method demands consistent work on vibrato and intonation to ensure a polished sound. Playing violin brings me a sense of peace that I share with those I teach."

"Rigorous focus characterizes the atmosphere of my studio. Every student works on specific technical hurdles during our time together. We break down complex movements into small, manageable components. Mastery requires repetition.
I incorporate shifting exercises and intonation drills to build a reliable mechanical foundation. You will leave feeling clear on exactly what needs to be practiced before our next meeting. My instruction remains grounded in the fundamentals of the instrument. I aim to keep our sessions productive and centered on your steady, incremental improvement."
