About Harine
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated secondary maths tutor, currently a Biomedical Sciences student at Anglia Ruskin University. I am passionate about helping students aged 11–16 (Years 7–11) build confidence and improve their skills. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and practice to make maths engaging and enjoyable. My goal is to support students in reaching their full potential, whether that’s improving grades, understanding tricky concepts, or preparing for exams. Having achieved an A* (8) in GCSE Maths and a B at A-Level Maths, I have a strong understanding of the curriculum and can tailor lessons to each student’s needs.

My approach to tutoring focuses on building a strong understanding of maths concepts while boosting confidence. I use clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and practice questions to help students grasp topics and apply them independently. Lessons are typically 1 to 1.5 hours long, allowing enough time for explanation, practice, and questions. I achieved an A* (8) in GCSE Maths and a B at A-Level Maths, so I have a strong grasp of the curriculum and can help students from Years 7–11 (ages 11–16) prepare for exams, improve grades, and enjoy learning maths.
