About Ivan
Hey! My name is Ivan, and I'm a tutor with a slightly different teaching style. I know how jarring math lessons can be sometimes, so in all my time learning for my exams, I've developed techniques which help me learn more intuitively, as well as faster.
I spent my K12 years in a battle with subjects like math, but, in the end, I came out on top, and now, I study a degree in Data Science (Statistics/Mathematics). More than just mathematics, I also focus on computer science, and have for my time in school, participating in tech fairs and math olympiads alike. In my free time I go to the gym, and also like to cook.

My teaching style involves visual aid to help students develop an intuition and context for the concepts they learn. I develop my own visuals and graphics for students to demonstrate the concepts.
Think about learning multiplication when you were younger; If you multiply 3 x 5, it's always easier to understand if you draw a rectangle size 3 by 5. Why can't we apply the same concept to more difficult ideas?
More about my qualifications: currently I study Data Science at the LMU in Munich, having completed mathematics in high school with near perfect marks. Additionally, I work as a student Data Scientist on the side, putting mathematical concepts to work. In middle and high school, I spent a large part of my time participating in science and technology competitions, often placing 1st, sometimes at the regional level.
