About Atharva

With a solid educational foundation, I earned my Bachelor's degree from the prestigious Curtin University in Australia, where I pursued a captivating journey of knowledge acquisition with a double major in Finance and Management, culminating in an outstanding overall CGPA of 3.5.

Currently, I find myself immersed in the dynamic world of a Fortune 500 company, where I serve as a dedicated data analyst. My role centers on spearheading transformative projects within the intricate realm of the European Equity and Fund market. With an analytical mindset and a passion for extracting insights from data, I thrive in the midst of complex financial landscapes.

Beyond the confines of the corporate world, I am an ardent aficionado of literature. My heart beats to the rhythm of both fiction and non-fiction narratives. I am entranced by the art of storytelling, where every page turned reveals a new world waiting to be explored.

In the realm of technology, I am more than a mere enthusiast; I am a code artisan. My coding journey is a manifestation of my insatiable curiosity, and it has led me to delve deeply into the realms of deep learning and computer vision. The synergy of data, algorithms, and vision ignites my creativity, propelling me to explore the limitless possibilities that this domain has to offer.

In essence, my life is a tapestry woven with threads of knowledge, data, literature, and code. It's a journey of relentless exploration, where every day brings a new opportunity to learn, create, and make a meaningful impact in both my professional and personal pursuits.

As an IELTS tutor and a CV builder, I adopt a student-centered and practical approach to teaching and knowledge sharing. Here's how I would approach these roles:

Teaching Techniques and Methods:

Customized Learning Plans: I begin by assessing the individual needs and goals of my students or clients. For IELTS preparation, this involves evaluating their current English language proficiency and target scores. For CV building, I assess their career goals, skills, and experiences.

Interactive Learning: I believe in active engagement and interaction. In IELTS classes, I use a combination of real-world materials, practice tests, and interactive exercises to enhance listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills.

For CV building, I engage in one-on-one discussions to gather information and collaboratively create tailored CVs.

Feedback and Improvement: Constructive feedback is a cornerstone of my teaching. I provide detailed feedback on IELTS practice tests and written assignments, highlighting areas for improvement.

For CVs, I offer suggestions for enhancing content, structure, and overall presentation.

Resource Utilization: I curate a range of relevant learning materials, including IELTS study guides, sample CVs, and industry-specific resources. These resources help students or clients access valuable information and practice exercises.

Usual Structure of a Class:

IELTS Tutor:

Assessment: The first session involves an assessment to determine the student's current English proficiency level and target scores.
Goal Setting: Together with the student, I set clear IELTS score goals and establish a timeline.

Skill Development: Each session focuses on one or more IELTS skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking). We work on strategies, practice exercises, and simulations.

Feedback and Review: I provide feedback on assignments and conduct regular reviews to track progress.
Mock Tests: Towards the end of the preparation, we simulate real IELTS exams with timed practice tests.
Final Preparation: In the last sessions, we fine-tune strategies and address any specific concerns.

CV Builder:

Initial Consultation: I conduct an in-depth interview to understand the client's career aspirations, skills, experiences, and preferences.

CV Creation: I draft a tailored CV that highlights the client's strengths, achievements, and qualifications.

Review and Feedback: The client receives the draft CV with detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Revision: We collaborate to revise and refine the CV until the client is satisfied with the final version.

Additional Services: Depending on the client's needs, I may offer cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, and interview coaching.

Special Features as a Teacher:

Individualized Approach: I recognize that each student or client is unique, and I adapt my teaching or coaching to their specific needs and goals.

Flexible Scheduling: I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate students or clients with busy lifestyles.

Cultural Sensitivity: I am culturally sensitive and create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

Up-to-Date Knowledge: I stay updated with the latest IELTS test format and scoring criteria, as well as industry trends for CV building.

Effective Communication: I maintain open and clear communication with students or clients, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the learning or CV-building process.

Intended Audience:

IELTS Tutor: My IELTS classes are intended for individuals preparing for the IELTS exam, which may include high school students, college students, professionals, or anyone seeking to improve their English language skills for academic or immigration purposes.

CV Builder: My CV-building services are intended for professionals at various stages of their careers, from recent graduates to experienced individuals looking to advance their careers or change fields. This includes college graduates, job seekers, and professionals seeking career transitions.
