About Olive
I am a highly passionate Physics student currently pursuing an integrated master's in Theoretical Physics at UCL.
While studying for my A levels, I decided to take my learning further and completed a gold CREST project on galaxy formation simulations. In this project I worked with a university professor to use a supercomputer to simulate galaxy formation and analyse the results.
I loved the subjects I studied at sixth form, but I know sometimes a small gap in understanding can cost a lot in exams. I have learnt a lot about how to maximise grades from my own experiences with exams and all the anxiety they can come with. I will give you the tools to overcome that anxiety and do the absolute best you can.

I will cater my tutoring sessions to your needs. As a passionate Physics girl myself, I like to work on understanding the underlying ideas behind the problems on the homework sheet, while on the other hand I know exam technique is important and I will teach you how to ‘play the game’ to get the marks in exams. In my lessons, we will both memorise formulae and learn where they come from.
My lessons range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, tailored for students between 11-18, whether you are looking to bridge a gap of understanding or to bump up your grades so you can reach your full potential.

Details
To establish my presence on Superprof, I am offering a discounted rate of £18/hour for my first few students. My online and in-person lessons will be charged at this amount - however if you are outside Brighton and Hove and require me to travel for you I may charge an additional £3 for travel costs.
I kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours may be subject to a 50% fee.
