About Ummehani

Hi! I’m currently studying Actuarial Studies and Finance at Macquarie University. I graduated from North Sydney Girls High School, one of the highest-ranked selective schools in NSW, achieving an ATAR of 98.35.
Throughout high school, my strongest subjects were Mathematics Advanced and Mathematics Extension 1, where I achieved a Band 6 in Mathematics Advanced and an E4 in Mathematics Extension 1. My strong academic background has given me a solid understanding of mathematics, analytical thinking and effective study techniques.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging and tailored to each student. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I focus on breaking challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps and making sure students genuinely understand the reasoning behind a method rather than simply memorizing it. I use worked examples, practice questions and different explanations to find the approach that works best for each student.
