About Emily
My previous job was a ski instructor at my local mountain for five years. This allowed me to build a strong understanding of how to work with students and teenagers/young adults while also making them feel confident and secure in their learning. I loved being a teacher of something I am passionate about. I would love to do the same by teaching one of my other passions, mathematics.

By studying Civil and Environmental Engineering I have a large emphasis on math, especially calculus I and II and physics. I am also currently enrolled in calculus III and physics II which will deepen my understanding of calculus and physics as a whole. I have a passion for mathematics and I remember how frustrating it was for me to learn it. I began to truly understand these subjects as a whole with the help of tutors and would like to help others.
