About Nina
Hello! I am currently a college student at the University of Notre Dame on the premed track. Throughout my academic journey, I have received a lot of mentoring, so I would like to do the same for others. I am happy to help tutor in science, math, or SAT prep for middle to high schoolers.
I graduated valedictorian of my high school class and have received Dean's list in both semesters of college so far.
I have spent the last five years tutoring in a variety of subjects and am skilled at assessing a student's situation and creating a plan to aid them from there.

I have spent my freshman year of college as an SAT and Calculus tutor. Additionally, I had spent my four years of high school tutoring at an inner city school, working with children from the ages of 4 to 12 with reading and math. My main job when tutoring these kids was to create a curriculum that best works for them. I have also done a lot of tutoring for high school students over the last few years. In addition, during the pandemic, I tutored online. Therefore, I work well with the grade range of K-12.
I love tutoring as I believe I am able to watch a student grow and aid them on their path to success. Each student is different, so I recognize these differences and use them to form a unique "game plan" to best help them learn the material. Typically, I create practice problems catered to what the student specifically needs.
I view this ability to tutor as a privilege and hope I get the great opportunity to work with you!
