About Timothy
I have never met a hopeless student. In my 15-year career, I have never once given up on a student, and I have always found a way to connect the material they need to learn with the dynamic, irreplaceable person they are. I also have a long history of engaging with students who have always "hated" school. I bring material to the student, not the other way around! I have a history of superlative evaluations, but the positive feedback I have been most proud of has been from the students I have taught.

I have been an educator for 15 years. I am licensed as a k-12 Special Educator in Alaska and Utah with experience teaching ELA, History, Science, Theater, and Music(Piano, guitar, and songwriting). I am very experienced in working with learners with disabilities including Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, and other challenges. I am proficient in multiple cutting-edge strategies to address neuro-divergent learner needs. I currently work in a Moderate/Severe Autism setting in an elementary school and am a BCBA candidate, meaning that I am very comfortable working with students with Autism or other behavioral concerns. As a licensed teacher, I can work with most districts to provide compensatory services. My philosophy is to create learning opportunities that are so enjoyable, they don't feel like learning!
