About Quéren

Salut! I'm Quéren, a French tutor with a passion for helping students master the language. Having learned French myself to a high level of fluency, I understand the challenges and triumphs that come with acquiring a new language. I bring a patient, structured approach to every lesson, ensuring that each student receives the personalized attention and support they need to succeed. My goal is to inspire confidence, foster a love for the language, and equip you with the skills necessary to communicate effectively in French. You can count on me for professional, focused, and engaging lessons tailored to your unique needs and learning style.

About the lesson

My approach is centered on making French learning engaging, practical, and confidence-boosting. As a trilingual, I know how hard it is to learn and master a new language. I draw on my background as a fluent French speaker and slam poet to design engaging lessons that focus on building strong language skills and mastering the language effectively.

~Teaching Method & Techniques~

I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style. Whether you’re aiming to improve your conversational skills, grammar, pronunciation, or written expression, I use interactive exercises, real-life scenarios, and creative tools like French poetry, music, and fun activities to make learning enjoyable and relevant. I also believe in building confidence through positive reinforcement and regular practice.

~Typical Lesson Plan~

Each lesson begins with a short icebreaker, followed by a review of previous material, and an introduction of new vocabulary or grammar concepts(Word of the day included). We then apply these concepts through speaking exercises, reading comprehension, and interactive activities like role-playing or analyzing short texts. I always allocate time for conversation practice and end the session with personalized feedback and suggestions for improvement.

~What Sets Me Apart~

My background in slam poetry allows me to bring a unique creative element to my lessons, helping students appreciate the rhythm, pronunciation, and beauty of the French language. Additionally, as someone who has learned French to a high level of fluency myself, I understand the challenges learners face and provide empathetic, patient guidance.

~Who My Lessons Are For~

My lessons are perfect for middle school, high school, or college students, as well as adult learners at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels. Whether you're preparing for a French exam, planning to travel, or simply want to improve your speaking skills, I can adapt the lessons to fit your needs.
