About Sangpo
I have worked at college Mathematics tutoring centers for about 4 years now and am currently a tutor at a community college Mathematics tutoring center. Altogether, I have about 7 years of experience tutoring undergraduates and secondary school students, mostly undergraduates.

I like to make sure the student is learning. Instead of just solving the problems, I ask some questions to make sure the student understood. I could also teach a more traditional class as in develop lesson plans, assign homework/tests and grade them. This would cost a little more than just plain tutoring, just solving problems. My tutoring is for secondary school all grades and undergraduate students. I have had excellent comments/reviews from students. I'm currently a Mathematics at a community college and am also a second year MS in Mathematics student at City University of New York.

Sangpo was my son’s 7th and 8th grade Math tutor. He worked with my son both in-person, as well as virtually during the pandemic. We found him to be very knowledgeable in all areas of Mathematics. Details
Rates depend on the level of classes. Generally for secondary school, $20/hr. Prefer students that need weekly lessons. Rates vary for undergraduates. Below Calculus, $25/hr. Differential Equations, Linear Algebra $35/hr. Higher $45/hr. Rates flexible especially if the student needs regular lessons, for example 2 hours a week. Rates higher for students that need more like a traditional class instead of just tutoring, solving problems.
