About Daniil
I am a pianist, composer and music teacher based in Antwerp. I completed my professional piano studies at Dnipro Music College and subsequently earned two master’s degrees in composition: one from the Kyiv National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music and another, with distinction, from the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.
I have been teaching piano, music theory and composition since 2012. My students include children and adults, from complete beginners to advanced musicians, and come from Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the United States, Australia and other countries.
Alongside teaching, I am active as a pianist and composer. My music has been performed by professional ensembles, including the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, and I have participated in national and international piano and composition competitions.
I am patient, attentive and reliable, and I adapt my teaching to each student’s goals, abilities and musical interests.

Every lesson is adapted to the student’s level, interests and personal goals. Together, we can work on piano technique, musical expression, sight-reading, rhythm, interpretation and confidence at the instrument.
As a composer and music theorist, I also help students understand harmony, musical form and the structure of the pieces they play. This makes it easier to learn music consciously rather than simply memorising notes.
I teach complete beginners as well as advanced students and can help with preparation for examinations, concerts, auditions and competitions. Lessons are structured and focused, while remaining friendly and encouraging.
Lessons are available online in English, Ukrainian or Russian.

Perfect! First piano teacher here, he is focused and know piano well! I m happy if I can learn few simple basic things. I m just going to take simple steps as time. Have hard time understanding. Daniil has been working with my daughter for almost a year and I can’t say enough of great things about him! My daughter already plays like a pro! He has so much patience with her! He also tough my daughter how to be more disciplined and responsible persons besides learning the notes. I appreciated it so much! My daughter started playing piano quite reluctantly when I offered her to try the lessons but she enjoys it a lot herself now thanks to Mr. Germans professional approach. He knows how to lead and inspire. Not only is he a great teacher and composer but also a fine human which makes the whole experience a pure bliss! One thing I know for sure. We won’t stop using his services because there is always room to grow and because of his positive influence on my daughter which makes me want to stay connected for good. Daniil has been teaching my son for almost a year . He’s very patient, diligent, and thorough when he instructs. He lets the student pick out his songs and also suggest a few as well. I like that he gives my son challenging pieces and pushes him to be better.
