About Oliver
Having now just finished my Computer Science course at Uni, I’m looking for something to help me continue to learn while helping others.
I know what it’s like to not be certain about something and to wish you had someone to go to that could reassure you about it. Tutors are here to help you, and nothing less. In the same vein - tutoring is something that should be tailored to the student, not to the other way around. I will work with you to find the best learning strategies and plan lessons accordingly.
I love learning, and I’d be honoured to be able to share that passion for learning with others.

My methodology:
While it’s important to teach topics in a more ‘traditional’ sense, it’s also crucial that adequate time is given for a discussion around each topic. By discussing the topic, it is far less likely that poorly understood concepts will slip through the cracks and become problems later on.
Typical lesson length:
I am extremely variable and can fit the specific student’s needs. However, a lesson of mine would not last more than 2 hours.
My qualifications:
I worked as a ‘Maths Leader‘ in my first year of sixth form, helping the year 11 higher maths students prepare for their exams while I prepared for mine.
