About Elizabeth
I’ve scored a 1560/1600 on the SAT with a 780 on the math section. I went through high school at the honors/ap level, taking AP statistics, AP calculus, and AP physics. I’ve taken college-level classes in Computer Science and Physics at Carnegie Mellon University, earning a 3.7 GPA. But more important than any of that, I have a deep and abiding passion for math, and I hope to inspire the same in you. Whether you love or dread math, I hope to help you understand it.

Hi!
My name’s Liz and I know math can be tricky. I’ll focus on helping you understand not only how to solve a problem, but why that problem can be solved that way. We'll start by first discussing your needs and abilities, and then I'll be able to target our approach to address those concerns. As we complete problems, I'll notice where your weak spots are and give you exercises to help. I have experience studying fields that use math at the college level, and I’ll help give you the skills you need to be prepared to do the same!

I took AP Calculus with Elizabeth, and I don't think I would have passed without her. She showed me how limits and derivatives actually worked, and after that it made much more sense. She also helped me drill my algebra skills, so that I could complete problems reliably.
