My goal is to make using a computer feel simple, useful, and even enjoyable. No stress, no jargon. I specialize in helping older adults and beginners gain confidence with technology through clear explanations, patient guidance, and real-life practice.
My Teaching Method:
I take a calm, step-by-step approach. Every lesson is adapted to your pace, needs, and interests. I explain everything in plain English (or Spanish), using real examples and screen sharing to show you exactly what to do.
A Typical Lesson Includes:
- A quick review of what we covered last time
- Hands-on practice (like sending an email, using Zoom, or organizing files)
- Time for questions or repeating any tricky parts
- A simple task to practice between lessons (optional!)
- I often prepare visual guides or printouts so you can review things on your own.

Perfect! Mara is very patient and very knowledgeable on the Mac platform that I happen to be using. I’m in no way techie when it comes to computers and I made some mistakes with my storage resources on my laptop and Mara is helping me to get past that and get back on track on a scale of one to 10 to judge her services. I would give her a 12 she’s amazing and I’m looking forward to the next appointment with her because in just a few minutes we covered so much in such a quick and fast time thank you Mara keep up the good work. I appreciate all your knowledge and expertise.

Mara is a dedicated, passionate teacher who has great results. She is empathetic but can very well keep the professor limit and adapt to each personality or even atypical mental structure. She has a lot of patience and is professional and structured. It will be a joy to learn with her.

A great experience overall!Mara is amazing teacher! I am so happy I found her for my kids! At first my daughter was studying with her and later my son.
