About Mia
I struggled academically in school, was often in trouble, spending lengthy periods in isolation. I’d always had a passion for English because of my background in music, however in my first year of GCSE (year 10) I was predicted to fail every subject except for English and History. Therefore, from personal experience I know how to get results and see incremental improvements in a fixed time period. I’ve also tutored friends of family and they have all achieved five GCSEs from Grades 4-7 (GCSE 9-1).

The key to exams, is exam practice and preparation. My lessons are centred around practice papers (particularly GCSE English Language). 60% exam prep, 30% content/revision and the remaining 10% is developing your approach to learning and revision encouraging you to develop your own study habits, and follow a designed schedule tailored to each student.
