About Rivka
"Graduating with a BA in Cognitive Science from the American University of Sharjah gave me the tools to map out how players think. I can still see the clock ticking down during my first tournament match. Over 4 years, I have helped students master time management, calculation, visualization, and blunder checking.
My approach emphasizes solid pawn structures and a competitive mindset. Recording and notation are vital habits, just like middlegame planning and opening principles. I break down endgame technique to ensure you hold your ground. I coach to build the thinking habits that win games, keeping things straightforward and logical for every tournament player I support."

"Focusing on the board requires a clear mind, so I prioritize structure over chaos. Often, players struggle because they lack a disciplined way to evaluate a position.
During our 10 sessions, I integrate weekly curated puzzle sets to sharpen your tactical vision. I bring 4 years of tournament experience to every move we analyze.
Visualization becomes second nature when you train with purpose. We analyze your games to identify patterns that need correction. I guide you through the complexities of the middlegame with a focus on deep calculation. The real joy in chess is finding the solution that settles a complex board state."
