About Sharon
I am a current student at The Ohio State University, majoring in Health Sciences on the pre-medicine track. I took Honors level Chemistry and later Advanced Chemistry in high school. As a prerequisite for medical school, I took General Chemistry I and II in college. When I was introduced to Chemistry in high school, it was not my favorite subject, but as I got exposed to more content, I started to develop an appreciation for the subject. I know there are multiple high school students who do not enjoy Chemistry, and I want to change that by being a tutor.

I understand the challenging nature of chemistry, so my number one teaching method is hands-on practice with supervision. When there is a confusing concept, I like to start off by explaining and later working out problems with the student. Compared to other tutors, I make sure to communicate with the learner to know what studying style works best for them. With this, I plan lessons to fit. I am looking to tutor high school students struggling with general, scholarship, and honors Chemistry.
