My approach as a tutor is student-centred, structured, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding rather than just memorization. A typical lesson starts with a short review of previously covered material to reinforce learning and address any doubts. I then introduce the new topic by outlining the learning objectives and explaining key concepts in a structured manner. This is followed by worked examples and guided practice, where the student actively participates in solving problems or answering questions. Towards the end of the lesson, I include application-based or exam-style questions to check understanding, followed by a summary of key points and clear guidance on practice or preparation for the next session.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my personalized and supportive approach. I take time to understand each student’s academic background, strengths, and challenges, and tailor lessons accordingly. I focus on building confidence, encouraging questions, and creating a comfortable learning environment.
