About Jeffrey
My name is Jeffrey Kellogg - I am 35 years old and graduated from the Chinese Flagship Program at The University of Oregon in 2013. I loved languages from a young age - I settled on Chinese as the most useful, albeit most difficult, language to master. It will open doors for you that other languages can't, but it'll also be harder to pick up. I can help you do that in a way that native speakers can't understand. Chinese has been the cornerstone of my career since graduation. Learning it was the best decision I ever made for myself. It's an invaluable skill that I've spent more than a decade teaching to others as well.

Twenty years of experience inside and outside of China, more than ten years of experience teaching.
I understand the perspective of learning Chinese as a second language and I can teach you how to be successful as a non-native speaker.
To succeed in this incredibly difficult language you need to focus on the fundamentals and building blocks that will allow you to build out your fluency from there. I will help you master the 100 most effective words / phrases / and grammar structures, and this will be your foundation for the future.
