About Theodoros
My name is Theodor and I come from Greece. I have lived in the UK for the last 9 years. I am a psychologist and a chess coach with 10+ years of experience. I can give lessons both in person and online. My approach in chess, just like in life, is that you can get very far with hard work.

My approach is that hard work always beats talent. The plan in chess is not to just play your position, but also your opponent. One might need to change his/her strategy according to the person they are playing against. I am also a psychologist which means I am able to manage any negative emotions the students are experiencing during chess competitions.

I’ve known Theo for a while now, very strong disciplined player. Gives good instruction to those in need of it. Anyone willing to have him as their coach won’t regret it, will definitely learn a lot.
