About Mitchell
Having attained Head Boy of Dulwich College in London, I am aware of the challenges that the new exams offer. I performed well in my GCSEs and A-Levels and have a true passion for the subjects I study and tutor. As a Chemistry graduate (graduated with First Class) I enjoy the applications of Chemistry and the problem-solving nature of the course. I will help students improve by providing clear and thorough explanations, clarifying any worries about topics along the way. Having tutored in the past, I am experienced in adapting to what each individual student may want/need in a given lesson. I am additionally ACA qualified, having won ICAEW prizes as part of the qualification.

The structure of my lessons will take two possible paths. The first path is that students can bring questions to the lesson that they have found difficult. I will work through these questions with the student and then provide extra questions on the given topic(s) in order to consolidate what has been learnt. The second path is that I will bring a selection of questions from a wide range of topics and work through these with the student, identifying any areas of weakness along the way. I will provide extra questions (and of course explanations!) on any topic(s) that the student wishes to work through together. I will measure progress through the questions that I will provide during the lesson. I believe that passion, as well as clear and thorough explanations, encourage learning and I always do this to the best of my ability.
