About Alice
Alice is a chartered structural engineer working for a global engineering consultancy firm. She has over 350 hours of tutoring experience with primary and secondary students.
She graduated from the University of Auckland with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering. Before work, she held a president role in a student association, managing 80+ committee members; was a case team member in the Management Consulting Club; and a selected participant in the Faculty of Engineering Dean’s Leadership Programme.
Alice achieved an average A* grade in CIE IGCSE, As and A2 Levels mathematics. She passed with an A/A+ on all core Engineering Mathematical Modelling papers at the University of Auckland. She is great at simplifying complex concepts and boosting students’ knowledge in a short amount of time.
Apart from being a structural engineer and academic tutor, Alice is also an active Trustee member of a registered Charitable Trust in New Zealand. She enjoys doing visual design, reading nonfiction, writing articles, and producing videos on YouTube.
