About Becky

With over 30 years experience in the accounting profession as well as an active CPA license, I love explaining difficult accounting concepts and problems using real world examples. I have also always loved math and want to share my tips on making math concepts through Pre Algebra easier to understand. I will tutor in your home or online.

About the lesson

I love to get to know the student's interests and background so I understand his/her learning style. Then I like to find out the challenge areas so I can prepare for our first session. This is all done during a free 15 min meet and greet, either on the phone or on Zoom, whichever the student prefers. This way we can start working right away during our first session and maximize our time of each session.

I had Mrs. Daughtery for Accounting 2 tutoring. She was very knowledgeable on the topics, extremely helpful, and communicated with me effectively. I succeeded much more than anticipated in Accounting 2 with a large part due to her.

She always tries to make sure her students can apply what they learned to the real world either personal or in a job setting. She is very flexible and understanding when it comes to her students schedules. She is very nice and makes accounting relatively fun to learn.
