About Leo

CELTA certified teacher of English to speakers of other languages of different levels and background (General English beginners to advanced, test preparation for Cambridge, Oxford and ETS exams, business and academic English and English for Specific Purposes). 10 years of experience in raising the levels of students' language skills from beginners to proficiency.

About the lesson

I am a CELTA certified teacher and wish to continue teaching adult international students online. I believe that I could effectively instruct you one-on-one or in a diverse group here on Superprof. I have had a variety of experiences as an educator. I taught English as a Second Language in Brazil designing lessons for groups of students at mixed levels and individual ones. I can help learners improve their language, skills, and pronunciation using a variety of materials and methods. I create and teach these lessons based on experience and teaching knowledge. While in the United States I have also continued tutoring Boston area high school students via tutoring and guiding non-English speakers. In addition, I have experience teaching computer skills to older people as volunteer work. My diverse experiences have connected me to people of all backgrounds, and I wish to help international students online build a bridge to the new culture in which they are immersed. I am confident that as an ESL teacher I could reach students with my passion for language and, through creative and dedicated instruction, help them achieve their goals.
