About Ekaterina
I am an experienced and fully qualified teacher and performer. I've been working as a teacher over 10 years with students of all ages and skill levels. I am a self-driven person who believes that hard work and dedication can gain a great success and I try to apply this for my students. I was trained in Russia absorbing the best musical traditions and in UK with the best teachers. And I know all the variety of teaching methods which help to make every lesson special and very productive.

Friendly atmosphere and an individual approach are at the heart of my classes. I work with my students on building a solid cello technique since it is essential, and we try to find the most natural way of playing for them. I place huge value on musicianship, creativity and imagination in my teaching. For the kids I've developed the special technique which makes the lessons more like a game and fun rather than super serious academic ones. My lessons cover all the essential aspects of instrument playing: music theory, aural training, singing, and productive way of practising. I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams and have always had them succeed. I give both face-to-face and online lessons.
