About Julie

As a fourth-year Journalism student at Toronto Metropolitan University, I understand how important communication, confidence, and clear writing are in everyday life. I want to help students improve their English in a comfortable, encouraging environment where making mistakes is part of learning!

My teaching approach is personalized, practical, and interactive. Each lesson is adapted to your English level, goals, and interests. We can practice everyday conversations, improve pronunciation and vocabulary, work on grammar, or develop writing skills through fun exercises and real-life examples. My goal is to help you feel more confident using English, not just memorizing rules.

A typical lesson might begin with a casual conversation to warm up, followed by a short activity focused on vocabulary, grammar, or writing. We will then practice what you have learned through conversation, writing prompts, or everyday scenarios. At the end, we will review your progress and identify areas to work on in our next lesson.

My special background in Journalism has strengthened my writing, communication, and storytelling skills. I aim to make learning feel natural rather than intimidating, and I will always encourage you to ask questions, practice at your own pace, and celebrate your progress.

My lessons are ideal for anyone at the beginner to intermediate English level. People who want to improve their speaking, writing, reading, or everyday communication skills. Whether you are learning English for school, work, travel, or personal growth, I would love to help you reach your goals!
